Tangy Cilantro & Mint Chutney

Spice up your regular meals with this delicious accompaniment which can be whipped up in just a few minutes. This tangy, spicy and very flavourful chutney can be used as a relish to a fried rice, a spread for your sandwiches or even as a dressing for your vegetables and salads!

  • Fresh Cilantro - 1 cup, chopped

  • Fresh Mint - 1 cup, chopped

  • Green chillies - 2 whole

  • Salt - 1 tsp

  • Yoghurt - 2 tbsp

  • Lime Juice - 2 tbsp

  • Dry Mango Powder - 1 tsp

  • Optional: Water - 1 tbsp or just enough to get the blender going

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until relatively smooth.

  2. Taste and adjust salt and lemon to your liking.

  3. Refrigerate until serving. Chutney will keep 4 days in the fridge
